In her current role, Vera works closely with the Regional Chief Pricing Office to provide pricing leadership and support to the local offices in Canada, the United States and Latin America. She also serves as liaison between SCOR's Global Pricing team and the Americas to ensure standards and processes are consistently implemented throughout the SCOR organization.
Before her promotion to her current role in August 2018, Vera was head of pricing for SCOR in Canada, overseeing the local pricing team for life and living benefits products. She has been with the company since 2014 and played an instrumental role on the regional pricing team as she worked in both the Canadian and American markets.
Vera holds an Honors bachelor's degree in mathematics with a major in actuarial science from the University of Waterloo. She has served the Product Development Council for the Society of Actuaries and on the Mortality Studies Working Group for the development of the 2014 VBT with SOA as well as a member of the CIA Individual Experience Studies Subcommittee.
